Josef Loder Sr., the great grandfather of todays company director, was a great motor enthusiast, repairing and working on engines and agricultural machinery in his spare time. What started as a hobby grew, and in 1899 the young Josef Loder realized his dream and founded the „Josef Loder – Motore und Fahrräder “ company.
