Encouraged by advances in the automobile industry „Josef Loder –– Motore und Fahrräder“. decided in 1927 to open one of the first gas stations in Bravaria. Still in operation today, the modern gas station is one of the oldest in Germany. In 1962 Josef Loder Jr. expanded his grandfather´s garage into a Ford dealership.
